Single Volunteers Boston (SVB) is a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit non-profit organization that connects singles who share a common interest in volunteerism. Our objective is to fulfill the volunteer needs of non-profit organizations in the Greater Boston Area while having fun and meeting people. SVB acts as a volunteer clearing house, providing nonprofit agencies with volunteers while providing volunteers with a convenient, fun and efficient way to volunteer. We are NOT a dating or matchmaking service.

The requirements to volunteer with Single Volunteers Boston are:

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• You must affirm that you have read and understand the volunteer agreement in its entirety. See FAQ's
• You must be single (not married or in a committed relationship unless holding a leadership position). Please see our partners listing for a list of other nonprofit's if you are not eligible to participate with SVB. See FAQ's
• If you agree to participate in a project, you must arrive at the project site on time. Since you are making a commitment to SVB and our Nonprofit Partner to volunteer at the event, please try to give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel. This gives us time to fill your volunteer slot.
